DATASHEET ISL76683 FN7697 Light-to-Digital Output Sensor with Gain Selection, Interrupt Function and Rev.10.0 May 21, 2021 2 I C Interface The ISL76683 is an integrated light sensor with an internal Features integrating ADC intended for automotive applications. The ADC 2 Range select with I C provides 16-bit resolution and is capable of rejecting 50Hz and 2 60Hz flicker caused by artificial light sources. The I C interface - Range 1 = 0 lux to 1000 lux provides four user programmable lux sensitivity ranges for - Range 2 = 0 lux to 4000 lux 2 optimized counts/lux in a variety of lighting conditions. The I C - Range 3 = 0 lux to 16000 lux interface also provides multi-function control of the sensor and - Range 4 = 0 lux to 64000 lux remote monitoring capabilities. Human eye response (540nm peak sensitivity) In normal operation, power consumption is less than 300A. Temperature compensated Furthermore, a software power-down mode controlled with the 2 I C interface reduces power consumption to less than 1A. 16-bit resolution The ISL76683 supports twin (upper and lower) user Adjustable sensitivity: up to 65 counts per lux programmed thresholds and provides a hardware interrupt User-programmable upper and lower threshold interrupt 2 that remains asserted low until the host clears it with the I C Simple output code, directly proportional to lux control interface. IR + UV rejection The ISL76683 is designed to operate on supplies from 2.5V to 3.3V, and is AEC-Q100 qualified and specified for operation 50Hz/60Hz rejection across the -40C to +105C (grade 2) ambient temperature 2.5V to 3.3V supply range. To achieve this, the ISL76683 is packaged in a special 6 Ld ODFN (2.1mmx2mm) extended temperature clear package.
