ISL8394 Data Sheet March 13, 2006 FN6038.3 Low-Voltage, Single and Dual Supply, Features Quad SPDT, Analog Switches Drop-in Replacement for MAX394 The Intersil ISL8394 device is a precision, quad SPDT analog Four Separately Controlled SPDT Switches switches designed to operate from a single +2V to +12V ON Resistance (R ) . 17 (Typ) 35 (Max) supply or from a 2V to 6V supply. Targeted applications ON include battery powered equipment that benefit from the R Matching Between Channels <1 ON devices low power consumption (5W), low leakage currents Low Charge Injection . 10pC (Max) (2.5nA max), and fast switching speeds (t = 50ns, ON t =30ns). A 4 maximum R flatness ensures signal Low Power Consumption (P ) <5W OFF ON D fidelity, while channel to channel mismatch is guaranteed to Low Leakage Current (Max at 85C) 2.5nA be less than 2. Fast Switching Action The ISL8394 is a quad single-pole/double-throw (SPDT) -t 50ns ON device and can be used as a quad SPDT, a quad 2:1 -t . 30ns OFF multiplexer, a single 4:1 multiplexer, or a dual 2-channel Guaranteed Break-Before-Make differential multiplexer. Minimum 2000V ESD Protection per Method 3015.7 Table 1 summarizes the performance of this family. For higher performance, pin compatible versions, see the ISL43240 data TTL, CMOS Compatible sheet.
