DATASHEET ISL90810 FN8234 2 Rev 3.00 Single Digitally Controlled Potentiometer (XDCP) Low Noise/Low Power/I C September 10, 2015 Bus/256 Taps The ISL90810 integrates a digitally controlled potentiometer Features (XDCP) on a monolithic CMOS integrated circuit. 256 resistor taps - 0.4% resolution The digitally controlled potentiometers are implemented with 2 I C serial interface with write/read capability a combination of resistor elements and CMOS switches. The position of the wipers are controlled by the user through the Power-on preset to mid-scale (128 tap position) 2 I C bus interface. Each potentiometer has an associated Wiper resistance: 70 typical 3.3V Wiper Register (WR) that can be directly written to and read Standby current 5A max by the user. The contents of the WR controls the position of the wiper.
