The ISL9444IRZ is a package power-management solution designed for ultra-scroll notebook applications. This solution supports three independent voltage channels, each with its own current limit, to reduce power dissipation and output ripple. It is capable of providing up to 15A of output current per channel and up to 30A total. The device includes both single-channel and dual-channel overcurrent protection, hiccup mode overcurrent protection, under-voltage lock-out protection, output voltage margining, and power-good signal flags. In addition, it provides smart thermal-tuning capabilities to optimize performance over the operating temperature range. The ISL9444IRZ is ideal for providing power to the core processor, display logic and panel, memory, and other ASICs in an ultra-scroll notebook design.
