The BD63520AEFV-E2 is a motor/motion/ignition controller and driver designed and manufactured by ROHM. This device can control up to 36-volt micro-step stepping motors with minimal current consumption. The device features step and direction pulse inputs as well as eight internal functions, such as a low voltage detection circuit, a loss of pulse detection circuit, and a current limit capability. It also provides a shield terminal for noise countermeasures and is equipped with a high-frequency switching current control system. The device is suitable for applications such as laser scanners, 3D printers, thermal transfer machines, industrial automation, small robots, and 3-axis motion control systems. Additionally, ROHM provides application notes and an evaluation board to assist in customer design.
