The IC integrates - Over Current Alarm 5 buck converters, 8 LDOs, a boost driver for LED, and - Over/Under Temperature Alarm a 500mA single-cell linear charger. Also included is a - Programmable thresholds and time durations Coulomb counter, a real-time clock (RTC), a 32 kHz Real Time Clock with 32.768kHz crystal oscillator crystal oscillator and a general-purpose output (GPO). - 32.768kHz clock output (Open Drain or CMOS Output Selectable) The ICs buck converters supply power to the application 1 GPO (Open Drain or CMOS Output Selectable) processor as well as system peripherals such as DDR Power Control I/O memory, wireless modules, and touch controllers. These - Power On/Off control input regulators maintain high efficiency over a wide range of - Standby Input for switching RUN/SUSPEND State current loads by supporting both PFM and PWM modes. - Reset Input to reset hung PMIC They also operate at a high switching frequency of - Power On Reset output 6MHz, which allows the use of smaller and cheaper 1 LED Indicator inductors and capacitors.
