National Park
2.L18.005-21 is one of the most interesting parts of Roztocze National Park located in southeastern Poland near the Ukrainian border. It encompasses some of the most picturesque landscapes of the Roztocze region, including mixed Beech and Spruce forests. This area is also the main nesting habitat of the Grey-Headed Woodpecker and other rare species of birds. There are several observatories in the area where visitors can observe the wildlife and landscape. The landscape is divided between the mountain ridges and the deep valleys, with streams and small rivers flowing through them. There are also interesting rock formations, caves, and numerous natural monuments.
The most renowned attraction of this area of the Roztocze National Park is the largest source of limestone in the region, with many rare and protected species such as the rare species of grass orchid and even the European blind mole. The area is also excellent for hiking, cycling, and horse riding activities. There are also many navigable rivers, streams, and lakes, perfect for canoeing and kayaking trips. This part of the Roztocze National Park is renowned for its unique flora and fauna, and its varied landscapes.
