2.PM18.005-18 is a part of Roztocze Natura, a 635-sq-km Special Environment Protection Area located in eastern Poland. The region is characterised by unique landscape formed by the influence of Carpathian and Polish Glaciers, which created a network of wetland habitats in this area. In this part of the Natura 2000, visitors can explore rare and rich natural habitats such as calcareous meadows, wet grasslands, fen-bogs, alder swamps and pine forests. The rich variety of species also makes this area of special interest for nature lovers, as this part of Roztocze Natura is home to a wide variety of plants and animals, including the European bison, the Aurochs, wild horses and several species of rare birds. This area represents an immense source of natural resources, which contributes to the local economy and job market.
