2.T18.006-21 is a part of Roztocze, an ethno-cultural region located in eastern Poland, close to the border with Ukraine and Belarus. Roztocze is characterized by its rolling hills and dense forests, as well as its numerous rivers and lakes, a habitat for a variety of species of flora and fauna. The region is dotted with traditional farmsteads, villages, and old-growth forests. Famous landmarks in the area are the wooden churches of Podhale, the hillside fortifications of Tarnogród, and the international border monument near Zosin. 2.T18.006-21 covers an area of about 88 square kilometers, including the picturesque towns of Zamosc and Wola Uhruska. This part of Roztocze and its unique flora and fauna are part of the Roztocze National Park, established in 1991 to protect the region’s unique ecosystems.
