Seeed Studio’s Pandora is a powerful development platform for IoT solutions, which allows developers to quickly bring a product to market with access to comprehensive hardware and software. The Pandora board is highly integrated, enabling all of the components necessary for a connected product. It includes a 1-GHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor, several general-purpose I/O ports, onboard Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi modules, 4MB of flash memory, 1GB of DDR3 RAM, and multiple expansion interfaces. The BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) component of Pandora is enabled by a Nordic custom BLE4.0 SoC, allowing for fast communication and device connection. It is ideal for applications that require low power and long-range connectivity, with a 50m range. It supports multiple profiles, allowing developers to configure their product to connect to any other BLE-enabled device as well as multiple paneer and RF modules. The Pandora board also provides an additional level of security with an onboard crypto processor that supports the latest symmetric, asymmetric, and hash algorithms.
