Senba's BS612 with Infrared Sensors Through Hole RoHS is a reliable, low-cost, through-hole mounted active infrared sensor. The BS612 is designed for low-level detection applications, such as proximity sensors, motion detectors, and edge detectors. The BS612 contains two infrared sensors—an IR transmitter and an IR receiver—mounted in a TO-92-style package. The device has a detection angle of 22° and operates from 3 to 6 volts. It features a response time of 1.5 milliseconds and a detection range of up to 2cm. The BS612 is RoHS compliant and is suitable for applications related to LEDs, light barriers, photocells, and other optical sensing devices.
