The WL280-2N2431 is a series 2 photoelectric sensor manufactured by SICK, with a detection range of 0.01 to 12m and an NPN output type. It is designed to switch on in DARK-ON mode, when a target object enters the detection zone, and switch off in LIGHT-ON mode when the target object leaves the detection zone. It features background suppression, response time of 7.5ms, and a max. resolution of 5mm. It is suitable for a wide range of applications such as level monitoring, object detection, presence detection and material presence monitoring. The sensor is rated IP67 and is suitable for use in challenging environments.
