Additional Infomation About Product

The L6599AD with Switching Controllers Hi-Volt Resonant Controller is a low-cost solution for targeted motor drive applications, such as in robotic vacuum cleaners. This controller is manufactured by STMicroelectronics and is designed to enable low-voltage operation for peak efficiency and works with both AC and brushless DC motors. It offers closed-loop RPM and torque control with the use of current or flux or optical sensors. It offers maximum efficiency for a wide voltage range, with no pre-charging requirement before switching PWM levels. The L6599AD with Switching Controllers Hi-Volt Resonant Controller features integrated EMC filter, short circuit protection, under-voltage lockouts, over current protections and protections against power surges. It also includes pre-drivers for high frequency control of insulated gate bipolar transistors or H-bridges, as well as an LED for visual indication of faults.
