The LIS3DHTR is an accelerometer manufactured by STMicroelectronics that measures acceleration in three orthogonal axes (X, Y, and Z). It is capable of detecting acceleration of ±2g, 4g, 8g, and 16g, with a measure rate of 0.5Hz ~ 625Hz. It comes in a 16-LGA (3x3) package. The 16 leads provide connections to the voltage supply, the I2C/SPI digital output and the interrupts pins. The LIS3DHTR also features a FIFO memory, a programmable interrupt engine that allows for dynamic and intelligent motion detection, position embedding and thus power efficient operation.
