The S2-LPQTR is an ultra-low power, high performance, sub-1GHz Radio Frequency (RF) Transceiver manufactured by STMicroelectronics. The device is applicable for use in 2.4GHz ISM band and sub-1GHz RF applications like Home and Industrial Automation, system interface, consumer electronics, automotive, medical, and many more. It is optimized for short-distance communication in various operating conditions and can work either in Stand-Alone mode or cooperate with an external microcontroller. The devices comes with support for ultra-low power consumption and embedded architectures like ARM ?CR Cortex-M4 and Cortex-M0 processors. It covers various RF protocols of different regions like Europe (Europe), US (FCC), China (SRRC), Japan (MKK), and Korea (KCC). It is capable of operating at frequencies of 315 MHz, 433 MHz, 868 MHz, 915-921 MHz, and 2400 MHz. The S2-LPQTR also features a built-in frequency synthesizer to allow for simple and easy frequency hopping. It offers programmable data rate up to 200 Kbit/s, up to +4.9 dBM sensitivity, and 100 mW RF output power. In addition, it offers numerous interfaces like serial peripheral interface (SPI), UART, antenna diversity, and a separate analog interface.
