The complete system includes one control board and one RGB LED matrix display panel. The STEVAL-ILL033V1 control board employs the STM32F103VET6 microcontroller which is used to configure the display settings of the STP24DP05 display driver. The control unit has a PS2 keyboard interface for data entry in which the color combinations of the display text and background can be configured during the run time.
