Additional Infomation About Product

The STMicroelectronics VIPER53DIP-E is a surface-mount, Power Management Integrated Circuit (Pmic) Dip-8 RoHS-compliant device. This integrated circuit provides numerous features for use in a wide variety of applications. These features include an output voltage range of 7V-35V, down-converter functionality, and a maximum 8A current rating for a single output. It also includes short-circuit protection, thermal overload protection, and on/off + logic control. The device has a low quiescent current of 3.5 mA operating from standard input voltages of 2.7V-5.5V, and allows for high efficiency for power-management applications. The VIPER53DIP-E is designed to allow for easy integration into existing designs, and has a robust operating temperature range of -40 °C to +125 °C.
