Additional Infomation About Product

The BQ25306RTER Battery Charger manufactured by Texas Instruments is a standalone 17-V, 3A 1-2 cell buck battery charger, with a power rating of 16-WQFN. It is a high-frequency switching regulator with low ripple and noise. The device is used to charge Capacitively Coupled Lithium Ion (Li-Ion) and Lithium Polymer (Li-Poly) battery types and employs TI’s proprietary BatteryPack(TM) technology. This allows the device to optimally charge batteries safely and quickly by controlling the voltage, current, temperature, and time. It is capable of continuous charging, voltage tracking pre-charge, charge termination and pack modulation. It has a wide range of operating temperatures from -40 to 85 Celsius and includes features such as OptiMOSFETs enabling high efficiency over a wide input voltage range and low power dissipation. The charge cycle can be monitored through the Status pin. The BQ25306RTER is suitable for automotive, communication, consumer, industrial, and portable applications.
