The CD4022BE is a 8-bit CMOS Octal Counter IC manufactured by Texas Instruments. It is capable of up/down counting with a bidirectional data bus. It can be used in frequency division, rate measurements, frequency measurements, programmable time delay applications, rotation counting, counter/timer control, and spectrum analysis. The CD4022BE features an asynchronous clear, preset, gated clock inputs, two buffered outputs, and an asynchronous reset. It operates over the supply range of 2V to 18V and is capable of both high and low speed counting with operating frequency range from 0.80Hz to 8MHz.
