The MAX3243CDBR is an high-performance, low power, single-channel differential line driver/receiver with an integrated RS-232 capable transceiver, manufactured by Texas Instruments. This chip is designed to provide an interface between full/partial multipoint RS-232 ports and differential, balanced, and unbalanced line formats. It features a dual-transmitter/receiver architecture that supports full-duplex, half-duplex, and Simplex operation with a minimum of external components. This chip has an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and provides a typical data rate up to 250kb/s. It also offers low standby current, high data integrity, and ESD protection.
