The SN74ALS245AN is a bus transceiver from Texas Instruments. It is a high-speed BiCMOS device that can be used to transfer data between two buses with different logic levels. It has 8-bit non-inverting buffer/line drivers, with 3-state outputs, and operates from 5V/3V supply voltage. It has very low power dissipation, with an input and output noise filter, and can operate over the temperature range of -55 to +125°C. It is available in 16-pin SOIC, TSSOP and PDIP packages, and is mainly used in applications such as data isolation, synchronous 2-way data transmission, data transfer gates, and level-shifting.
