The Texas Instruments SN74HC151N is a 8-1 line data selector/multiplexer IC. It is a type of digital logic device used to select one line of data from up to eight sources and then output that data on an output line. This multiplexer is designed for use in applications requiring very fast switching speeds and low power consumption while providing high noise immunity (HCT logic level family). The SN74HC151N has four enable inputs (G1, G2A, G2B, and G3) and three data inputs (D0 through D7), with the data outputs (Q0 through Q7) being driven to the corresponding selected data input, depending on the logic level at the enable inputs. It also includes built-in active high and active low functionality for G2A/G2B control.
