The SN74HC245N is a Bus Transceivers Tri-State Octal Bus manufactured by Texas Instruments. It is a high-speed CMOS device containing eight non-inverting bus transceivers. The bus transceivers feature tristate outputs, enabling them to operate as either 3-state buses or as 8-bit buffers. Each output has two active-low enable pins, one active-high enable pin, and four active-high output enable pins. The device is designed to operate off of a single 5 V supply. It features low-power consumption, wide common-mode and input voltage ranges, and rail-to-rail output swing. In addition, the device meets all of the specifications of the JEDEC standard. This device is ideal for use in data/address switching, multiplexing, and bus hold applications.
