Additional Infomation About Product

The SN74HC259N is an 8-bit addressable latch from Texas Instruments. The latch is composed of 8 D-type flip-flops that have both a data (D) and an address (A) input. When the data input is present and the address is valid, the latch stores the state of the data input at the address in a stable nonvolatile state. The latch also has a select pin that can be used to select the levels of signal at the data input for latching a data signal. The SN74HC259N has low active-high outputs, high noise immunity, and quasi-bidirectional outputs for increased noise margin. It also features maximum operating voltage of 6V and minimum operating temperature of -55°C.
