The TPS2557DRBR is an integrated power switch IC from Texas Instruments. It is designed to be used in distributed power systems such as servers and data center racks. It provides precise programmable current-limited control for multiple output points, maximizing power efficiency. Features include adjustable output current, overcurrent reporting, adjustable power sequencing, and adjustable active discharge. It is able to support load currents up to 5A, while consuming very little power. It also includes integrated short-circuit protection and thermal shutoff to protect the load in power fault conditions.
