The TPS27S100APWPR is a 1-channel, 40-V, 100-m smart high-side power switch with an adjustable current limit manufactured by Texas Instruments. This 14-HTSSOP, 40-125 package device is ideal for use in automotive, industrial and other applications to provide power distribution up to 100 mA, and designed for in-vehicle and off-vehicle applications. This single chip device features overload protection, undervoltage lockout (UVLO) and thermal shutdown (TSD) protection, as well as an adjustable current limit and built in diagnostic functions(DIAG). The high-side switch also supports system intelligent power control (IPC) to reduce power consumption. The TPS27S100APWPR also contains an integrated SOFTSTART circuit that reduces the inrush current at the system startup, and a DISABLE command that allows the use of system level on/off control or logic level modulation on the high side switch.
