Additional Infomation About Product

The XTR115UA/2K5 is an 8-pin, surface-mounted, integrated circuit (IC) device from Texas Instruments. It is a current loop transmitter specifically designed to enable reliable transmission of information over long distances. It has a two-wire current input which is placed in series with the main current loop. The current input is programmed to transmit a specific current signal representing a particular information. The input current signal is mapped to an output voltage signal which is then transmitted over the output wires in the current loop. The transmitter is able to work in either a 2-wire or 3-wire current loop configuration, and is capable of transmitting up to 2.5kbps data rate. This IC is suited for low power applications such as resistive bridge and telemetry systems.
