The Toshiba 74VHCT573AFT(BJ) is an Octal Transparent Latch circuit with the capability of latching eight bits of data. It is a high-speed, low-power CMOS device designed for use in a wide range of clock and data communication applications. It features an output enable (OE) pin to reduce power consumption, and open-drain outputs for use with a pull-up resistor network. The device is manufactured in a 5-pin SOP (Small Outline Package), and each latch output is standard EIA/TIA-232 5V compliant. It has low operating current of 10mA and supports operating temperature range from -50 to 70 °C.
