The Uni-T UT387B is a non-contact metal and voltage detector. It can detect metals such as steel, iron, and copper, detect live voltage up to 1000V AC, and detect wood, plastics, and other non-metallic materials. It features an ergonomic design for comfortable handling and use. The detector is equipped with a built-in light and sound alarm for quick identification and switching between a active and standby mode. Additionally, the device is powered by a 9V battery, is simple to use and is ideal for quick, easy and safe trouble-shooting and testing.
