These series provide improvements in sensitivity TSOP96...TR - side view taped, 1120 pcs/reel to remote control signals in dark ambient as well as in sensitivity in the presence of optical disturbances e.g. from CFLs. BLOCK DIAGRAM The devices contain a PIN diode and a preamplifier 3 assembled on a lead frame. The epoxy package contains an V S IR filter. The demodulated output signal can be directly 30 k connected to a microprocessor for decoding. 4 The TSOP963.. and TSOP965.., series devices are designed OUT Band Demo- to receive short burst codes (6 or more carrier cycles per Input AGC pass dulator burst). The third digit designates the AGC level (AGC3 or AGC5) and the last two digits designate the band-pass 1 2 frequency (see table below). The higher the AGC, the better PIN Control circuit GND noise is suppressed, but the lower the code compatibility. AGC3 provides enhanced noise suppression and AGC5 16839 provides maximized noise suppression. Generally, we advise to select the highest AGC that satisfactorily receives the desired remote code. APPLICATION CIRCUIT These components have not been qualified to automotive 17170-12 R specifications. 1 Transmitter IR receiver with V + V S S TSALxxxx C 1 C OUT V O GND GND R and C recommended to reduce supply ripple for V < 2.2 V 1 1 S Rev. 1.1, 26-Mar-2021 Document Number: 82848 1 THIS DOCUMENT IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE.
