Additional Infomation About Product

The 2RP800L-8 with Discharge Tubes (GDT/TSS) RoHS is a surge protector manufactured by Yageo. The device is designed to prevent electrical surges from damaging the connected digital equipment, such as printers and fax machines. The device consists of three components: the Grease Discharge Tube (GDT), the Thermal Shutoff Switch (TSS), and the Resistor/Polymer Varistor. The GDT is designed to manage the discharge pulses of voltage and transfer the current to the TSS. The TSS is designed to monitor the voltage, and if it exceeds a certain threshold, it will shut off the system to protect it from any further surges. Finally, the Resistor/Polymer Varistor acts to absorb any excess energy and ensure the system is not damaged by overvoltage.
