The BK12000702 is an axial discharge tube (GDT/TSS) manufactured by Yageo that is RoHS compliant. This discharge tube is designed to provide effective suppression of electrical noise caused by capacitance build-up in audio and telecommunications circuits. The discharge tube is made up of two electrodes and a non-conductive ceramic core. It works to quickly discharge the capacitance build-up that can be caused by the high-frequency signals it is exposed to. This discharge tube is rated for a peak current of 2000A, making it suitable for high-power applications. It also has a voltage rating of up to 6kV. It has an overall diameter of 12mm and its length is 18.5mm.
