The BK22005002 Discharge Tube (GDT/TSS) Axial RoHS manufactured by Yageo is a surge protection device that provides protection against high-voltage transients. It is designed to protect sensitive electronics from transient overvoltage and transients on AC and DC lines. The tube is RoHS compliant and has an axial configuration. It is rated for 500V and 2kA. The device is constructed using glass-filled insulation and ceramic-filled epoxy and has a low profile for easy installation. It has a short circuit capacitor, an upward-facing arc gap, and a welded strain relief.
