The TIP122 TO-220 RoHS Darlington Transistor manufactured by Blue Rocket is designed for general purpose switching and amplification. It is a Darlington transistor array consisting of two NPN Darlington connected transistors in a monolithic structure. The device is designed to switch heavy loads with very low saturation voltage. It features high collector-emitter breakdown voltage, high collector current, and high gain. The TO-220 packaging makes it easy to solder and assemble on a printed circuit board. With low on-state resistance, the device is capable of providing up to 5A of continuous collector current. The RoHS compliant version is lead-free and is ideal for green electronics applications.
