Additional Infomation About Product

The HCPL-3120-500E with Logic Output Opto-couplers 2.0A IGBT Gate Drive are manufactured by Broadcom and are optically isolated logic output optocoupler devices. The device features a GaP LED light source that is optically coupled to a low-current phototransistor with a 2500 V/us dV/dt immunity rating. In addition, the 4-pin DIP package supports a high-performance IGBT gate drive current up to 2.0A, ensuring reliable operation in switching applications. The HCPL-3120-500E has a low input current of 1.6 mA, which provides higher efficiency than traditional gate drive optocouplers. The logic output has an internal 50 ohm pull-up resistor to V CC , supporting various system configurations. The optocoupler has a wide operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C. It is suitable for many applications which require a high-power drive with an electrically and optically isolated control signal.
