The KA7809B is a linear voltage regulator manufactured by FeiHong in a TO-220 RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) package. It is a two-terminal adjustable regulator with an output voltage range of 8.5V to 21V. It is designed to provide up to 800mA of output current and can operate from input voltages up to 35V. The KA7809B has low dropout voltage and can handle transients as high as 40V. It is stable over wide temperature ranges and has excellent dynamic response. It is AEC-Q100 certified and is ideal for automotive and other harsh environment applications.
