The AM29DL163DB-90EF is a 64Mb (8 Meg x 8), 3V, 16M x 8-bit CMOS Flash Memory manufactured by Infineon's Spansion group. It is designed for use in a wide range of applications with enhanced endurance, robust performance and versatile configuration options. This device provides a low power solution in the Industrial Temperature (-40°C to +85°C) range for applications that require a high endurance memory. The AM29DL163DB-90EF supports both OTP (One Time Programmable) and Flash Memory technology, with an internal command register that allows the user to select between different access modes of operation or specialized features like write voltage attenuator. This Flash features 16 Mbytes (128 Meg-bit) of separately erasable segments and supports concurrent erasing, depending upon the size of the segment. The AM29DL163DB-90EF also provides enhanced data protection features including Block Lock and Enhanced Security Lock. Additionally, the AM29DL163DB-90EF is offered with the standard Dual Voltage VPP range of 12.7V - 13.8V, as well as a low voltage option of 10V – 10.8V. The low voltage option is a strong advantage in applications that use a single (3V) power supply.
