20A Integrated PowIRstage IR3742 FEATURES DESCRIPTION Single input voltage range from 5V to 21V The IR3742 integrated PowIRstage is a synchronous buck gate driver IC with co-packed control and Wide input voltage range from 1.0V to 21V with synchronous MOSFETs and Schottky diode. It is external V bias voltage CC optimized internally for PCB layout, heat transfer and Integrated MOSFET drivers, Control FET, driver/MOSFET timing. Custom designed gate driver Synchronous FET with Schottky diode, and MOSFET combination enables higher efficiency at bootstrap diode and the internal LDO lower output voltages required by cutting edge ASIC, Enable input with voltage monitoring capability FPGA and advanced controller. Logic Level Tri-state PWM input Up to 1.5MHz switching frequency enables high Thermally compensated Over Current Indicator performance transient response, allowing miniaturization of output inductors, as well as input and Open-drain over temperature and over current output capacitors while maintaining industry leading fault indication efficiency. The IR3742s superior efficiency enables Under-voltage Lockout of VCC/LDO Out smallest size and lower solution cost. Operating temp: -40C < T < 125C j The IR3742 includes an over current indicator and over Package size: 5mm x 6mm PQFN temperature indicator in the event of a fault condition.
