The IR3839MTR1PBF is an integrated circuit (IC) from Infineon Technologies. It is a high performance, buck-based, synchronous rectified, low voltage IC that is mainly used for PoE and PoE+ applications. It integrates two high voltage MOSFETs, a switched-mode power converter, and a control circuitry in one module. The IC is capable of delivering up to 1.5A of current at an input voltage range of 8V-55V, and an output voltage range of 0.8V-46V. The IC provides multiple protections, such as overvoltage protection, over temperature protection, and thermal shutdown protection. It features a PFC (power factor correction) function which allows the device to achieve powers up to 450W while remaining in efficiency. The device is packaged in a 16-pin 3x3mm QFN package, and is RoHS compliant.
