The on-chip PWM controller and Continuous 3A Load Capability MOSFETs make IR3883 a space-efficient solution, 800kHz Switching Frequency providing accurate power delivery. The IR3883 employs an Enhanced Stability (EaSy) engine that 10uA Supply Current at Shutdown makes it stable with ceramic capacitors without EaSy SupIRBuck engine Stable with Ceramic compensation. Capacitors and no External Compensation IR3883 can operate in Forced Continuous Enhanced Light Load Efficiency with Reduced Conduction Mode (FCCM) or can enter Diode Switching Frequency and Diode Emulation Emulation mode during light loads to save power. Forced Continuous Conduction Mode Option With ultra-light loads, IR3883 can enter a low quiescent current mode making it ideal for Standby Thermally Compensated Peak Over-Current power supplies.
