It features a low-voltage, large field range, and is capable of sensing both unipolar and bipolar magnetic fields. Once a magnetic field has been detected, it can be used to activate a switch, trigger an interrupt, or provide an indication of the device’s position. This makes it ideal for applications such as motor commutation, rotor angle sensing, current sensing, gear position measurement, and anti-theft systems in automotive and industrial applications. The chip is available in an 8-pin SOIC package that allows easy installation on a board. The TLE4905L also has an integrated temperature sensor to compensate for magnetic field variations.
