The MDNA660U2200PTEH is a discrete semiconductor module made by IXYS, designed for direct operation of 6-phase brushless DC motors. It features a wide, unregulated input voltage range as well as simple built-in control signals. The module includes a bridge rectifier circuit for combining motor supply voltage, motor return voltage and a motor coil, and operates with an input voltage of 660 V (maximum). It also provides reverse polarity protection, overload protection, and pulse-by-pulse current limiting for additional safety. Additionally, the module features a high-speed desaturation detection control. This advanced protection and control system along with robust design makes it suitable for a range of applications.
