It is designed to provide a regulated output voltage of 5V from an unregulated input voltage range of 7V to 40V, in order to ensure a safe operation. The device has a current limit of 1.5A and can operate over an operating temperature range of -55 to 150°C. It also features a supply voltage rejection of 75 dB, which reduces the amount of noise generated in the system.
