It is designed to protect sensitive electronic components from voltage stresses caused by electrostatic discharge (ESD) and electrical overstress (EOS). It comes in a DO-15 (dual-in-line, plastic, 15-lead) package with low power dissipation and a SURFACE MOUNT RoHS compliant construction for improved performance. The P6KE100A has peak pulse power dissipation at 600W and peak pulse current rating of 4.5A. It has a typical breakdown voltage of 137V and maximum working voltages of 95V, 85.5V, and 105V. It also has a low stand-off voltage of 1uA and a fast response time of less than 1ns. The TVS diode is unidirectional and is designed for applications such as switching power supplies, data lines, and telecom networks.
