Comlinear CLC3800 Triple, Standard Definition Video Amplifier Rev 1D Data Sheet Comlinear CLC3800 Triple, Standard Definition Video Amplifier FEATURES General Description n Integrated 4th-order, 8MHz filters The CLC3800 is a triple low cost video amplifier capable of driving 2V into pp n Integrated 6dB video drivers 1 (150), 2 (75), or 3 (50) video loads. The CLC3800 features integrated n 8.8mA total supply current 8MHz, 4th-order low pass filters designed to cleanly pass standard definition n 0.08%/0.04 differential gain/phase video signals while filtering out noise and other unwanted signals , resulting error in a crisper, cleaner video signal. The 4th-order filter provides improved n DC coupled inputs image quality when compared to 2nd-order passive filtering solutions. n AC or DC coupled outputs The CLC3800 video amplifier offers a fixed gain of 6dB. This integrated n DC-coupled outputs remove the need gain compensates for the voltage drop inherent in properly terminated video for AC-coupling capacitors loads ensuring a 1V video signal is present at the load. pp n Each channel can drive 2V into 1, 2, pp All three video amplifiers can be driven by DC-coupled signals.
