The 24C65T/SM is a 64-Kbit serial EEPROM manufactured by Microchip. It incorporates the latest in memory technology, allowing for higher speeds and densities than traditional EEPROMs. The 24C65T/SM features a 200 kHz I2C interface, a two-wire protocol which enables the device to communicate with the controlling processor or microcontroller. Its 64 KBytes of memory are organized into 256 pages of 256 bytes each, and can be read and written byte-by-byte or page-by-page. It operates from a supply voltage of 1.8V to 5.5V, and its 1.4 mA low active current makes it ideal for low power applications. The device also features four-state Hardware write protection, internal self-timed write cycle and hardware write protect. In addition, its Endurance cycles, Data Retention, Low Power Consumption and ESD Protection make it suitable for a variety of applications.
