The ATMEGA324PB-AU with AVR microcontroller manufactured by Microchip is a low power, high-performance, 8-bit microcontroller. It is pin and code compatible with the ATMEGA48A/PA/88A/PA/168A/PA/328/P and is a modified version of the ATMEGA324P with additional UARTs and SRAM. Its features include an on-board calibrated 8MHz Internal RC oscillator, 32KB of Flash program memory, 1KB of EEPROM data memory, 2KB of SRAM, 48 I/O lines, and a 44-pin TQFP package. It also has four dedicated hardware timers, TWI (two wire interface) and SPI (serial peripheral interface speed of 16MHz.
