MIC5205 150 mA Low-Noise LDO Regulator Features General Description Ultra-Low Noise Output The MIC5205 is an efficient linear voltage regulator with ultra low-noise output, very low dropout voltage High Output Voltage Accuracy (typically 17 mV at light loads and 165 mV at 150 mA), Guaranteed 150 mA Output and very low ground current (600A at 100mA Low Quiescent Current output). The MIC5205 offers better than 1% initial Low Dropout Voltage accuracy. Extremely Tight Load and Line Regulation Designed especially for hand-held, battery-powered Very Low Temperature Coefficient devices, the MIC5205 includes a CMOS or TTL Current and Thermal Limiting compatible enable/shutdown control input. When shut down, power consumption drops nearly to zero. Reverse-Battery Protection Regulator ground current increases only slightly in Zero Off-Mode Current dropout, further prolonging battery life.
