MIC5210 Dual 150 mA LDO Regulator Features General Description Mini 8 MSOP Package The MIC5210 is a dual linear voltage regulator with very low dropout voltage (typically 10 mV at light loads Up to 150 mA per Regulator Output and 140mV at 100mA), very low ground current Low Quiescent Current (225 A at 10 mA output), and better than 1% initial Low Dropout Voltage accuracy. It also features individual logic-compatible Wide Selection of Output Voltages enable/shutdown control inputs. Tight Load and Line Regulation Both regulator outputs can supply up to 150 mA at the Low Temperature Coefficient same time as long as each regulators maximum Current and Thermal Limiting junction temperature is not exceeded. Reversed Input Polarity Protection Key features include a reference bypass pin to improve Zero Off-Mode Current its already low-noise performance, reversed-battery Logic-Controlled Electronic Enable protection, current limiting, and overtemperature shutdown. Applications Designed especially for hand-held battery powered Cellular Telephones devices, the MIC5210 can be switched by a CMOS or Laptop, Notebook, and Palmtop Computers TTL compatible logic signal, or the enable pin can be Battery-Powered Equipment connected to the supply input for 3-terminal operation. When disabled, power consumption drops nearly to Barcode Scanners zero. Dropout ground current is minimized to prolong SMPS Post-Regulator DC/DC Modules battery life. High-Efficiency Linear Power Supplies The MIC5210 is available in 2.7V, 2.8V, 3.0V, 3.3V, 3.6V, 4.0V, and 5.0V fixed voltage configurations.
