The PIC16F1527-I/PT is an 8-bit CMOS microcontroller from Microchip. It has 32kB of Flash memory and 256 bytes of EEPROM. It has 8 channels of 10-bit Analog-to-Digital (A/D) converter, plus 2 comparators for voltage and temperature sensing. It also has 6 capture/compare/PWM (CCP) modules, 1 Enhanced CCPM (ECCP) module, 1 Enhanced USART (EUSART) module, 1 Master/Slave SPI module, 1 I2C module, 3 Timer1 modules, and 2 Timer2 modules. The device is powered by an 8MHz internal oscillator and can be clocked with an external oscillator of up to 32 MHz, with an option to use the Internal RC oscillator. It can run on either the High-Performance Range (HPR) or Low-Power Range (LPR) power modes. The device has an operating voltage of 2 - 5.5V. It also has 14 I/O pins for digital interfaces and has Low-Power Sleep and Idle modes for improved power saving.
